Shira is a writer, translator, and full-stack software engineer who recently graduated from Brown University with degrees in Translation and Computer Science. She writes and translates with Limited Connection Collective, co-runs Poems from a University Quarantine – a blog, workshop, and speaker series – and is currently serving as a Civic Digital Fellow at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In the past year, she was also a Code for Equity Fellow with Impact Labs, an active member of Brown University's Socially Responsible Computing initiative, an intern at Formally, and a barista at The Underground.
