Shira is a translator, computer scientist, letterpress printmaker, and Fulbright scholar in Montréal, Canada. She also writes and translates with Limited Connection Collective. In recent years, she has been a software engineer, an editor, a Civic Digital Fellow, a barista, an intern, and a responsible computing teaching assistant. She holds degrees from Brown University in Translation and Computer Science.

My co-translation of Laura Vazquez's La Main de la Main (Cheyne Éditeur, 2014) with Limited Connection Collective is forthcoming from UDP! Laura won the Prix Goncourt in 2023 and we are very excited that she is finally getting an English audience.
I moved to Montréal to start graduate school!
